Wilson Medic One has been the exclusive provider of mental health transport services to the Western Australian Department of Health for over 7 years.
We specialise in the safe transport of mental health patients within the community and between hospitals. Our team has extensive expertise in delivering care that ensures positive outcomes for patients, the community, and our staff.
We maintain a strong understanding of the Mental Health Act 2014 (MHA 2014) and its practical application. Our clinical team regularly engages with the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist to stay up to date on trends and government policy. Our staff are thoroughly trained in the legislation surrounding the safe transport of patients, and our procedures are aligned with relevant state policies and mental health standards, including the Charter of Mental Health Care Principles, with a patient-centred approach that prioritises de-escalation as the primary objective.

David Chelliah
Chief Executive Officer
David oversees Wilson’s operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and the Medic One health division. He leads the growth of healthcare and emergency training services, with a strong focus on people, safety, and service excellence.
Nadine McElwaine
State Manager
Nadine has led healthcare operations at Wilson Medic One since 2014, managing multi-disciplinary teams across four states. She has played a key role in launching and growing ambulance and non-emergency patient transport services, including establishing new operations in Queensland.
Nicola Leech
Senior Manager Clinical Operations
Nicola leads clinical operations bringing extensive experience in ambulance and healthcare services. Based in Perth, she draws on her background with Wilson Medic One and the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust to support high standards of clinical care and operational excellence.
Amy-Beth Knox
Clinical Operations
Amy-Beth Knox is an AHPRA-registered Paramedic with over a decade of clinical care experience across both hospital and pre-hospital settings. She began her career in nursing in 2011 before transitioning into paramedicine, serving on-road with NSW Ambulance until joining Wilson Medic One in 2025. In her current role as Clinical Services Operations Manager, Amy-Beth is responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-road operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.

After completing the Diploma of emergency health care late last year I simply cannot recommend this place enough.
The staff are absolutely amazing not only do they break the ice in the class room to ensure everyone gets along, the way they explain and break the educational material down through class discussions and quite fun activities makes this course super enjoyable for anyone wanting to pursue a career in the medical industry.
No matter your skill level or background the staff and management will be there to help you understand, and grasp the learning materials that are provided throughout the cert 4 or diploma.
11/10, This was definitely one of the most enjoyable courses I have completed.
